Sodalite Moon Necklace

Sodalite is a rich royal-blue tectosilicate mineral that forms in igneous rocks that crystallize from sodium-rich, silica-poor magmas. It is found in Canada (Ontario and Quebec), Greenland, and the United States (Maine and Arkansas).

Not to be confused with lapis lazuli which contains golden pyrite flakes, sodalite is nicknamed the "Thinker's Stone" for its association with logic and clarity. Sodalite is linked to both the throat chakra and the third eye chakra and is thought to encourage clear communication, intuition and spiritual growth.

This stone is paired with a silver tone stainless steel 20" decorative chain and the stone measures approximately 1 cm wide at the center and 2 cm across.
