Hemimorphite Flame

Hemimorphite is a sorosilicate zinc mineral  famous for its unique crystal structure and vibrant blue colors. Its name is derived from the Greek words hemi (half) and morph (shape), referring to its hemimorphic crystal habit where opposite ends of a single crystal terminate in different shapes. While Mexico is widely considered the most prolific producer of world-class collectible hemimorphite, it is also found in China, Africa and the United States (Arizona, Montana and New Jersey).

Hemimorphite activates and aligns the upper four chakras and is a stone known to heal the emotional body, enhance one's communication abilities, and assist in cleansing and balancing one's aura. This stone is a great example of the flow of colors in this stone including the deep Mediterranean teal blue mixed with dreamy pale blue. This stone stands on its own, has a druzy pocket running through the center of the stone and is a real sparkler in the light!
