Amazonite Bracelet

Amazonite is a vibrant blue-green variety of potassium feldspar. Named after the Amazon River (though it is not actually found there), its distinctive color comes from trace amounts of lead and water within its crystal structure. It is found in Brazil, Madagascar, Russia, Norway, and the United States (notably Colorado and Virginia) and forms primarily in granitic pegmatites and igneous rocks.
